Emily Remington, CPA, CGMA, PSA

As CPA.com’s Director of Audit Product Management, Emily focuses on helping firms understand the potential to modernize the audit and transform their practices leveraging the Dynamic Audit Solution (DAS). She brings to the role her extensive experience in audit, assurance and business advisory services, as well as a deep passion for audit quality and effectiveness and a steadfast commitment to the future of the profession.

Prior to joining CPA.com, Emily spent more than 15 years in public accounting, working with clients across industries including healthcare, professional and financial services, as well as with state, local and federal government entities, non-profit organizations, privately held companies and high-net worth individuals. Her background includes experience at Ernst and Young, a mid-sized CPA firm and a boutique tax firm, as well as time as a Controller in industry. In addition to assurance services, Emily co-founded and built an advisory services practice focused on change management, business process improvement and departmental optimization.

Emily has served on the board of directors for a non-profit organization. Additionally, she has completed the BDO Leadership Institute program and is a 2020 AICPA Leadership Academy graduate, as well as a Girl Scouts of America Gold Award recipient.

Emily graduated from American University’s Kogod School of Business, enjoys traveling and spending time with her son.
